EXPERT UROLOGICAL CARE

Theo Cisu, MD, graduated with high honors from the University of Virginia where he completed triple majors in astronomy, mathematics and biology. After pursuing a graduate research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He then moved back to Virginia to complete a high-volume surgical residency in urology at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and the Central Virginia VA Medical Center in Richmond. Dr. Cisu performed more than 2,000 surgeries during his clinical training including hundreds of operations on the da Vinci robot.

Jordan Burns, DO, earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Leadership Studies from West Virginia University, then went on to obtain her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Virginia Campus. She continued her medical training with an Internship in General Surgery at Charleston Area Medical Center. Her passion for urology led her to pursue a residency in Urology at CAMC, where she was named Chief Urology Resident during her final year. Dr. Burns is the only female urologist in the area, and her diverse skill set encompasses both medical treatments and surgical interventions.
